Interior of the amphitheatre at Lupiae. The parapet of the arena wall is decorated with scenes of the venatio, with venators and animals including felines, boars, bulls, dogs, and a rabbit.

The amphitheatre was built between the 1st and 2nd century CE, had a seating capacity of approximately 25,000, and measured 102 X 83 meters, with the arena measuring 53 X 34 meters (Porto 1976).
